New Bridge For The Plank Road

Note To ALL Club Members

When riding the County trails please ride offset (not straight down the center) so we are not making ruts in the trail. Also when you are riding all of our trails please yield to pedestrians, horseback riders, hikers, and bicyclists on the trail. This means at least stopping for horses and slowing down for people. Also, when you are getting close to houses please slow down as a common courtesy to reduce dust. It is also illegal to ride down either State Routes 370 (in Cato) and 104A (in Fair Haven). We only have permission to cross these main routes. If you are caught, you WILL be ticketed and it will reflect poorly on the club. We need to do all this so we can keep people happy so we are allowed to continue sharing the trails in the near future.

Work Detail

Attention club members this Saturday at 8 am we will be replacing the decking on the Martville bridge that is located on the Cayuga county trail between Cato and Fair Haven. Fair Haven Parade

Fair Haven parade is coming upon us quickly. The parade is July 5, 2012 at 7pm. We would like ATV riders to bring there ATVs and follow our float. We will be meeting at Dick Lunkenheimers’s place (14236 Fair Haven Rd. Sterling, NY 13156) at 5:30 pm, to decorate the float. We will leave Dick’s by about 6:15 to 6:30 to head down and line up. We usually don’t get the numbered spot where we line up until that day. If you can participate please watch our Facebook page for our line up number, if you do not go to Dick’s. As soon as we get our number we will post it. Hope to see you there.

Attention Members

Tomorrow morning (6-9-12) at 9am we will begin the cleaning of the new club property on Muck Drive. We are asking that any club members that are able to help to just bring yourself and a pair of gloves. The property is located on the north end of Muck Drive opposite the muck. If the weather doesn't cooperate or you have any questions please call Jermey Bomgren at 592-8626 or Derek Moody at 289-4397. Thank You in advance for any help you can give us.

Attention Club Members:

It has been brought to my attention that there has been someone doing donuts on one of our trails leading into Fair Haven. Anyone that is caught doing this will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law for vandalism. If you see anyone doing this or any other destructive activity, please get a plate number or member sticker number and call Jermey at 592-8626. If we want to continue to be able to ride into Fair Haven and all the other trails we have, we need to stop these people from upsetting our landowners and being disrespectful to their property. Please…respect all of our landowners and their property. It is a privilege to be able to use their land, not a right. We need to all work together to keep this privilege.
